I was born and raised in the countyside of Southern Germany. From early childhood I was fascinated by nature and decided by the age of four that I wanted to become a nature explorer, specifically an earth scientist. I studied geology in Stuttgart, Tübingen, Reading, Cairo and Miami University and worked as an exploration geologist before I became a professor of geology at the University of Tübingen. Having been a researcher and travelling the world for several decades, I became more and more interested in inner exploration and considered myself very lucky to find the path of Yoga, Tantra and Ayurveda.
Spending many months at the Shri Kali Ashram was a life changing experience for me. I am very grateful to all my teachers at Shri Kali for teaching me not only a wonderful yoga system, but the essence of life. Every time I practice the Tantra Yoga System, I feel peaceful and happy inside. This is the reason why I want to share this with others. Now I am giving weekly yoga classes inside and outside the University of Tübingen in Germany as well as workshops on Ayurvedic Walking Massage. My students much like and appreciate it.
